Designed To Keep Pets With Their Caretaker

Pet ID
A common reason pets end up in Washington State shelters is because they become separated from their caretaker and are brought into an adoption agency. When an animal doesn’t have an ID tag or microchip they are labeled as “stray” and soon put up for adoption or transferred to another agency.
To help lost pets get returned to their home as quickly as possible, we are providing free or low-cost pet ID tags in communities throughout Washington.
Pet Supplies
Since 2019, we have been distributing free pet supplies to folks who are experiencing homelessness, financial strain, and also to human and animal rescue partners when they are low on supplies.
It is estimated that up to 10% of the homeless population in Seattle have pets. We honor that income should not be a barrier to keeping a pet; these are beloved pets whose caretakers want the best for them.
Pawsitive Alliance is working with our partners to provide essential supplies to keep pets thriving with their caretakers. You can help by making a monetary donation today or providing pet supplies.
