Ryan Reynolds

Homeless since August 2020. Ryan is a dog who had a very difficult start to life. When young, his mum shook him which caused a physical injury, akin to shaken baby syndrome. Despite this, he’s mobile and has no trouble walking though it may not be a straight line. He also has some developmental delays and fear issues, but he works hard to overcome them.
He is affectionate in his own way, but he cannot be cuddled for too long or he may panic. He will, however, tap you with his paw for attention and does love to be petted.
Ryan Reynolds knows his name plus words such as “Sit.” He’s a dog that thrives on schedules and routines. For example, he loves to ride in the car, but he has to be in a crate; and when he exits the crate, he will not jump straight out when the door is opened, but rather has to walk across to his “spot” to jump down.
He loves eating from puzzle feeders like Kong wobblers. He’s very loving and will give kisses, though he may miss the mark at times due to a lack of depth perception; he may lick your nose one time, your ear another time and your eye the next!
He’s a wonderful, silly and sweet boy who just needs a second chance at life and a patient and caring family.
