We are responding to the call for help to support the displaced people and pets caused by this week’s flooding in Yakima County.
We need your help to give them hope.
What we need most right now is dog food, cat food, litter, and pet supplies (visit our Amazon Wish list), as well as donations to tend to medical needs for these animals (vaccines, injuries, spay/neuter, etc).
This emergency comes at a time when we are already experiencing an increase in asks for pet food and medical care.
Thank you for any help you can give for these animals.

Kitties are getting used to the live traps. This is done in preparation for their snip-snip day.
21 kitties at this site are already fixed, six more to go! Surgery appointments are already made. Soon this colony will be under control and no longer overwhelmed by more kittens. 😻
Pawsitive Alliance is a small nonprofit providing vouchers for community cats and dogs to help stop the tide of unwanted kittens and puppies from being born, especially important as we enter the winter months ahead. Thanks to the caregivers, donors, and partners for making this possible: trappers, Yakima Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic, Valley Spay and Neuter.

We are partnering with Ridwell on their upcoming pet supply collection. We will send the donated pet supplies to pets in need across the state.
Seattle area Ridwell customers, opt in to your pick-up and fill your bin with pet food, leashes, collars, toys, and pet clothes. Items just need to be in good and usable condition.
Check Ridwell`s list to see what is accepted, and if you`re not a Ridwell customer yet, well, @getridwell!
