Results are in…1,845 spays and neuters done in 2025!
Our SNIP Program -
- provides free or low-cost spay and neuter surgeries,
- serves unowned community cats and dogs,
- serves pets of unhoused folks, low-income people, and Tribsl members,
- focuses in Puget Sound and Central WA.
The majority of these surgeries were performed in Yakima County, an area of extreme overpopulation that we are working to increase services to
Total spent was $170,000.

WOW! Our volunteer crew rounded up and distributed 77,193 POUNDS of pet food last year to help feed cats and dogs in need across Washington!
They did this one can and one bag of food at a time.
We don`t have any dedicated storage space for this effort, as most storage facilities don`t allow food, so they store it in their cars, their garages, in their houses; when there`s a car load, we get it moved to partners across the state who distribute it.
These resources support pet owners who are unhoused and Tribal members plus human and animal-welfare partners, primarily in Puget Sound and Central Washington.
2025 was a record breaking year, and 77,193 is a lot, BUT this food gets used up as quickly as we can gather it.
If you want to get involved to help us collect and move pet food, please let us know. We also gather and distribute pet supplies but due to capacity, we aren`t able to closely track the weight of those donations.
In addition to thanking volunteers for their hard work, and our rescue partners for helping us get the food to needy animals, we also need to thank all the individuals, organizations, and businesses who collect items for us:

Eva Green is ADOPTED! A true #HappyTails, Eva was homeless for nearly 3 years.
Thank you to her caretakers, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue, for the gentle care over the years, giving her the time and space needed to heal from her past.
Eva was highlighted in our #WhyNotMePets campaign, along with other amazing yet long-term homeless pets.
