Amber Knox
Operations Manager

Amber Knox is thrilled to join Pawsitive Alliance as the new Operations Coordinator!

Amber brings a wealth of experience in non-profit operations and community building. Before stepping into the animal welfare world, she spent several years as Managing Director at Tieton Arts & Humanities, where she specialized in creating connections and strengthening community through inclusive artistic programs.

Prior to that, Amber’s career was rooted in Environmental Philanthropy with foundations like the Bullitt Foundation and Campion Foundation in Seattle. There, she championed the power of nonprofits to drive social change through policy advocacy.

Fun fact: Before her pivot to non-profit leadership, Amber’s creative side led her through the world of theatre production, working with notable theaters like the Seattle Rep and Seattle Opera after graduating from Cornish College of the Arts. She also spent over a decade singing with the Medieval Women’s Choir.

A passionate naturalist and Master Gardener, Amber returned to her roots in Selah with her family and three rescue cats in 2017. You can find her exploring the outdoors, getting her hands dirty at Belleflower Farm (her wildscape design and gardening business), whipping up good food, or making things. She’s excited to bring her diverse background and operational expertise to Pawsitive Alliance!
