For more than four decades, Fariba built a distinguished career as a North Carolina Certified
Public Accountant, leading accounting, finance, and risk management functions in both nonprofit
and for-profit organizations. In early 2026, she stepped into retirement after a long and fulfilling
professional journey.

Today, Fariba pours her energy into the things that bring her joy: caring for animals, supporting
wildlife conservation, and advocating for a healthier environment. After 21 years in Anchorage,
Alaska, she continues to find inspiration in its landscapes and community. She loves traveling,
discovering antiques, and savoring good food and music.
